I want to be that kid.

One fine day
During some awesome conference or church service or something like that
There was a kid
Now this kid was sitting in the middle of the service.
And the person delivering the offering message
Was preaching their heart out.
And people were just responding.
Everyone was going forward and putting money into the bucket in the front.
And the kid’s heart was racing
The words of the speaker
“Give your best”
Ringing in that kids ear.
He knew that he had no money in his pockets..
As everyone was giving.
That kids little heart raced like it had never done before.
As everyone made their way back to their seats
The kid wanted to give so badly..
As everyone sat down.
He got up.
Walked to the front.
All eyes were on him.
As he reached the front.
He looked into the bucket..
Paused for a moment.

And Stepped into the bucket.
